Mission
Statement:
At Prospect Mill
we believe that physical education is an integral part of each
child’s total education. Throughout the year we offer a balanced
curriculum that includes motor skills, movement concepts, game
activities, and team sports experiences that are developmentally
appropriate. Our goal is to teach children how to be physically
active in ways that increase movement competence, self esteem,
physical fitness, and joy through lifelong physical activity.

How to Meet the Grade:

effort, attitude, and sportsmanship.
- Proper dress:
tennis shoes, socks, and not wearing jewelry.
- 4th & 5th
grade students will be assessed on the “Fitness-gram”. This is a
form of evaluating the child’s fitness levels and monitoring their
progress throughout the year. Individual reports will be sent
home with the 3rd quarter report card.
