Students new to Harford County and PMES Required documents for entrance into Harford County Public Schools.
These three things are essential for admission to school. Upon registration, a parent/guardian must provide documentation proving bona fide residency in Harford County. Proof of bona fide residence will be required each time a student enrolls in a school system, re-enrolls, or upon the request of the school. Proof of residence must be dated within three months of registration. The names that are listed on the registration have to match the names on the proof of residence. If a student registering is living with a relative, a notarized letter must be written by the homeowner and accompany the proof of residency (homeowner's name on the bill). If more than one child resides with the relative and will be registering in other Harford County Public Schools, the letter should contain the names of all the students living with them.
